Features galore!

It’s always a tremendous honor to see our work featured by blogs or in print, and I want to share with you a few of our recent publications.

First up, Melanie + David’s south beach soiree was featured in the absolutely stunning Atlanta Wedding Magazine’s Fall/Winter 2011 issue.
Atlanta Weddings has one of the prettiest magazines in the wedding world, and you can pick up your copy at Publix, Kroger, or Barnes and Noble. If you missed their wedding, you can check that out HERE!

We also had a fabulous feature with Florida Bride Magazine Fall Winter issue 2011, the always sweet Abbey + Denson’s wedding was featured in a double page spread, on the left as an ad for Visit South Walton, and on the right, a story and image from their wedding. To see more of their wedding, click HERE.

Lauren, the editor over at Southern Aisle, also featured Bridget + Lance’s Destin beach wedding. Click on the image below to see the full feature, and you can see Bridget + Lance’s wedding by clicking HERE.

And one of our favorite e-glossies, Smitten Magazine, featured Lauren + Jay’s sweet Rosemary Beach wedding! See the full feature by clicking on the image below, and their wedding HERE.

We are so excited to have our work seen by so many wonderful publications in the wedding world and we are honored to be listed among so many amazing peers and friends! :)

Nick + Rachel | Atlanta, Georgia

I would like to say how much I adore this sweet couple. Rachel + Nick are two of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever met and I felt privileged to work with them. You might remember that Nick is from Cambridge, England and Rachel is a native of Atlanta (If you missed their engagement session at Pebble Hill Plantation, check that out here) and many of their guests made the travel overseas for their sweet DIY wedding earlier this month. Everyone in the family was so warm and welcoming and we loved listening to the English accents. I told Nick when I first met him, that I didn’t care what he said, but he could talk about nothing and I would listen because I loved his accent that much! :) And isn’t Rachel STUNNING? Seriously, it’s not even fair to be that beautiful and not know it. :)

Love you both and we can’t wait to see you again soon!

All images are film, shot on Fuji Pro 400h.

There was this beautiful peeling, crackled wall in the back room of the church and I about died when I saw it and all the beautiful window light. I hope the church never covers those walls up, they are beautiful.

Nick told me that Rachel was trying to talk him into wearing a bow tie. Um, yes. Please? I loved that all the groomsmen’s bow ties matched the hankie in the pocket of the person next to him. :)

You girls look lovely. Rachel’s sweet sister handmade the hair pieces and the sashes on the dresses, while Melanie at  Le Bonne Fleur put all the amazing florals together.

Rachel + Nick have amazing taste in music, their friends Steve + Paul performed Coldplay’s “Till Kingdom Come”.

The little rabbits scattered around the reception came from Rachel’s garden.

After the ceremony, we had the most amazing, warm sunlight…

Rachel collected all the details from local antique stores in the Atlanta area.

All the tables were reminiscent of historic plantations and were named after some of the ones Rachel + Nick have toured over the years.

Rachel’s mom made the cake. Wedding cake is not an English tradition but they didn’t want to sacrifice taste for looks. I loved it.

First dance to Aqualung’s ‘Brighter than Sunshine’.

Tupelo honey favors.

Congratulations Rachel + Nick! We love you both!
