Paxton + Whitney | Seaside, Florida

Paxton + Whitney are from Houston, Texas and were originally planning a huge wedding for about 400 of their closest friends and family back home. But in the middle of the wedding planning melee, they decided that they wanted to have a small destination wedding in their favorite little town of Seaside, Florida, less than 6 months before they were to say “I do”. :) When I met with Paxton + Whitney for the first time, they told me that they just didn’t want everything to be about the fluff, and just to be about them joining their lives and their families together as one. Paxton’s father was going to officiate the Seaside chapel ceremony, and the gathering was going to be an early afternoon affair on the Lyceum Lawn. I can’t think of a better way to have a wedding. :)

Last minute, we decided to shoot a little video while photographing, and I am so glad we did because as I looked back through the footage, I thought it would be fun to post some video along with the stills so you could witness what we did on this beautiful day. :) We are in NO WAY claiming to be videographers, so this footage is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. We just loved the final product and wanted to share. :)

Thank you Paxton + Whitney for just being you. We both got a little emotional during your wedding because MK and I are both have grown so attached to you. To say that “we love you” would be a huge understatement!

Jay & Kelly | Watercolor, Florida

I think Kelly + I are soul sisters. Seriously, we’re both completely silly and we are both what I like to call “Type A+” personalities. :) Not in a bad way, just that we’re that dorky…we need to have everything in order and beautiful. :) So from the first time we talked and met, I knew that we MUST be sisters from another mother. :) You might remember Kelly + Jay from their engagement session a few weeks back. If the engagement session was any indication, I knew the wedding was going to be amazing. But this amazing, I could never have guessed.
October 9 was a beautiful day, thank you Kelly + Jay for letting us spend it with you and those closest to you. :D
XOXO!

Jay is a golf coach, so you can guess what the guys spent the morning doing. :)

Meanwhile, back at the house…

Love these two little ones… they just melted my heart AND they speak French. How cute?

Putting the finishing touches on.

There is just something that I love about a father that is about to give his daughter away. So much emotion tied up in that moment. My favorite moment to photograph. :)

Kelly, you are just… stunning.

This was Kelly’s request, and this bridal party HANDS DOWN wins for the best jumping shot. EVER. :D

Waiting on the shuttle.

CREAMED!

Y’all, this band was ROCKING. NO JOKE! The Stephen Lee Band from Atlanta was awesome and I will recommend them to ANYONE. :D

Congratulations Kelly + Jay! We love y’all! :D
