We are blessed to have our work featured with so many wonderful publications. Here are some of our most recent:
Meredith + Will’s Savannah wedding on the ever lovely Style Me Pretty Georgia.

We were also so thrilled to be picked by Amy + Jocey, the sweet girls of The Wedding Chicks, as one of their handpicked photographers. A huge honor, indeed.

Southern Weddings featured Maureen’s bouquet, done by the talented Brian Watson at Myrtie Blue, in the newest issue, Sothern Weddings Volume 4.

We could not be more thrilled to work with such talented and passionate individuals in the wedding industry!

Ajmal + Kali | Savannah, Georgia | Film

Hello dear friends! It has been far too long since I last “saw” you out there in blog world, and for that, I apologize. I have missed you terribly!
Michael and I have been traveling all over the Southeast for weddings this month. We shot our last wedding of September this past weekend, along with a slew of engagement sessions, as well as attending a workshop by our amazing friend, Jose Villa, in Santa Barbara, California.

Before I begin this post, I wanted to tell you about some exciting things going on at LKP. We have had lots of questions from you about the film we have been shooting as of recently. We had lots of wonderful comments and emails after we posted Katherine + Michael’s creekside shoot that was photographed in film, and we are so glad you enjoyed it! When I started practicing photography about 9 years ago, long before I even thought about making photography a career, all I had was an old 35 mm film camera. Digital still had not made in onto the scene. Digital became all the rage over the next few years, the ease of being able to process your photos quickly, without having to wait for them to come back from a lab. When Michael and I decided to photograph weddings, it made sense for us to shoot digitally. But I never really lost that thought process about shooting film, and so over the last several months, I have been turning to my film roots and I am loving the results. Film moves me in a way that I can’t explain. It has a romantic and organic feel for me, as well as produces similar results that we have come to love in our digital work. It’s definitely not for everyone, but we love it and we hope you do as well. With that being said, you will be seeing much more of our work in film. First and foremost, as artists, we feel compelled to continually evolve and produce amazing imagery that stirs your heart and tells a story as it happened. We hope to be able to tell your story through our photos!

More on all of these things later, but for now, we will start out with Jamal + Kali’s beautiful wedding in Savannah, Georgia. The wedding was at the Mansion on Forsyth Park, and we could not have asked for a better day. Jamal + Kali met while Jamal was playing basketball in Switzerland, and even though they didn’t hit it off immediately, they reconnected after a few years and a romance blossomed. Thank you, Kali + Jamal, for having us. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with you both and wish you many years of love and happiness!
